Thursday: Free Online Discussion About What Stimulus Plan Means For Your Small Business

Posted by Gayle Kesten Tuesday, Mar 3, 2009, 01:48 PM ET

OK, listen up all you small business owners who told MerchantCircle they didn't know enough about President Obama's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to have an opinion about it (read yesterday's SBR post).

On Thursday, March 5, QuickBooks maker Intuit is hosting a free Small Business Town Hall on its Community site and on Facebook, with the intent to provide an in-depth understanding of how the recently signed economic stimulus bill can benefit you.

The one-hour meeting starts at 3 p.m. EST/12 p.m. PST., to be kicked off by Raymond Keating, author and chief economist of the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council, with a discussion of the major points affecting small businesses in the stimulus bill. He'll be followed by a panel discussion featuring Small Business Trends' Anita Campbell, Duct Tape Marketing's John Jantsch, and Wall Street Journal small-biz columnist Kelly Spors.

Only have a few minutes to spare? Campbell kindly breaks down the agenda by the minute so you know what's starting when.

And, of course, you don't have to be among MerchantCircle's out-of-the-loop survey takers to benefit from the discussion.
