5 Tales To Tickle Your Funny Bone
It's Friday, and I thought I'd keep the tech light on this very white day in the Northeast. School was closed this week, so I've been walking the fine line shared by other at-home workers who find themselves balancing business with family.
It's nothing short of a good problem, I know. I spent eight years making sure we were covered for my son's vacations, which always outnumbered the number of days my husband and I had off from the corporate world. It's a relief not to have to scramble.
For those of you with little ones underfoot, I thought you might get a kick out of the latest idea to make it on CoolBusinessIdeas.com, my new favorite daily destination. Check out this amusing way to keep an eye on your up-to-35-pounds ball of energy while you try to answer your e-mail.
Another entertaining read: fiscally responsible suggestions for living each day to the fullest.
Riddle me this: If we can put a man on the moon, cure diseases and clone sheep, why can't some programmer out there figure out a way for those darn apostrophes and hyphens to stop confusing our computers?
In trying to come up with something clever for the following, I discovered a biblical quote that literally fits this story to a T: "If the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." (Didn't I see this on The Office a few months ago?)
Finally, here's one that has been tossing around in my noggin since Monday: Researchers appear to have discovered a correlation between higher testosterone levels and entrepreneurship. The population studied? All male.
Someone conduct a companion estrogen study and get back to me, OK?
