Making The Perfect Business Pitch

Posted by Judy Mottl Thursday, Dec 27, 2007, 09:16 AM ET

You've got a great idea, you've got some tentative supporters and investors and the initial business pitch about your new service or product is taking shape. You can avoid striking out if you follow some good tips from an expert.

Making that critical business pitch is not very complicated yet it's one of those things you want to just wing on the fly. You have to know your audience, know your investors and know what they want to hear.

As management consultant Dustin Walling explains over at bMighty.com, if you follow a solid three-step process you will have a very good chance of hitting a homerun. The trick is all about understanding your audience's needs and answering any question they have. And, if you know your stuff, it's not too hard to make that business pitch fly.
