The Journey Begins

There is just something so incredibly intriguing and compelling about the small business enterprise. I think it's because small businesses have to be nimble, they have to be quick and they have to be creative to succeed.

And all those characteristics are appealing to me, both as a journalist who loves covering business and as a consumer who has always marveled at how small businesses not only manage to compete but sometimes carve out a unique marketplace niche that bigger players in a market totally overlooked. The fact that many small businesses keep the big players on their toes is also fascinating.

That's why I'm so honored to be part of the team here and want to thank Fred Paul and Cora Nucci for extending the opportunity to blog. It's a terrific chance to dig in deep on one of my favorite topics and to bring you information, tips, advice and insight that will make your work lives easier and your business more prosperous.

So feel free to write me anytime on topics you need insight on, issues you're dealing with and questions you need answers to as I hope to provide as much help and guidance as possible. And don't be afraid to debate me or take me to task either. The goal is to provide exactly what you need.
